House Rules

House Rules

1. You may only use Races and classes from the core rule book and advanced players guide.

2.This is a low magic campaign due to the rules on my mana system. Mana is directly dependent on life in an area. Since this is a desert setting and plant life is limited there is little magic (mana) available. Divine magic is under no such restrictions as arcane magic as that power comes from the deity.

3. This society has a strict caste system. There are seven major clans each with their own areas of specialty. Your class partially determines what clan you are in ( except monks, and clerics). You may only be 1-step away from your clans alignment. A D100 will be rolled by me to see how you place within your clan i.e. a 100 will make you clan heir, while a 5 will make you low man on the totem pole. due to the caste system all half-breeds are severely disadvantaged and generally have lower status and or slaves. I expect such things in your back story

4. If you so choose you may play a character from " out of town" but If you do so you will have to roll checks every hour in game for the climate. It will take you 4-6 in game weeks to acclimate to the environment. you must also use one of your bonus languages to speak the local language (dusani), and all the local weapons will be exotic to you. All “middle eastern” weaponry that was considered exotic are now martial. and vise versa
